Center Overview
In 2001, the center was created as the Exploratory Nursing Research Center for Self Management Interventions. In just three years, our work had evolved enough to support a full Core Research Center, one of only ten in the country funded by the National Institutes of Health/National Institute of Nursing Research. The focus is on the development, understanding, and testing of nursing interventions to enhance self and family management of chronic conditions.
