Yale University School of Nursing proudly announces the creation of the Helen Varney Chair in Nurse-Midwifery.
This endowed Chair honors the contributions of Helen Varney Burst in nurse-midwifery education, practice and scholarship.
It is expected that the Varney Chair will lead faculty development in research, education, practice and policy in a distinguished University setting. The Chair is a tenured position.
