Nancy Cantey Banasiak is an Assistant Professor in the Pediatric Nursing Practitioner Specialty. She has been a faculty member of Yale School of Nursing since 1998 and practices at Yale-New Haven Hospital Primary Care Center with a focus on asthma. She holds her Master's Degree of Science from Catholic University of America.

Currently, Nancy is involved with developing and researching a comprehensive asthma program through the introduction of outpatient clinical pathways, educational programs for patients and primary care providers, development of an asthma clinic for patients, and improving communication in order to optimize patient outcomes.
