YSN Wins PRSA's Best Magazine Award for 3rd Consecutive Year!

Yale Nursing Matters Magazine has been awarded the 2004 Gold Mercury Prize for Best Magazine by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). This is the third consecutive year that a YSN's publication has been awarded this honor. The Mercury Prize for Best Magazine is awarded for excellence in editorial content and style, photography and graphic design. A finalist is selected from entries from the private, non-profit and academic sectors. The School's outstanding effort in publicizing the role of nursing and nurses in health care practice, research, education, and community advocacy was recognized at the Annual Meeting of the Connecticut Valley and Southern New England Chapters of PRSA which took take place at the Long Wharf Theater in New Haven on the evening of June 2, 2005.
