Yale Nursing Matters honored by Sigma Theta Tau International
New Haven, CT — November 29, 2005
Yale Nursing Matters, the official publication of the Yale School of Nursing (YSN) and the YSN Alumnae/i Association, received the 2005 Pinnacle Award, Best in Public Media category, from Sigma Theta Tau International, the honor society of nursing. "We are pleased to present this award to the Yale School of Nursing for its coverage of important issues in nursing. This publication was selected as the best of the best in the public media print category and is an inspiration to all honor society members and to nurses everywhere," said Honor Society President, Daniel J. Pesut. This is the second consecutive year that YSN has been awarded the Pinnacle prize. YSN was honored at Sigma Theta Tau International's Bi-Annual Convention on November 12-16, 2005 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
