YSN to celebrate the legacy of philanthropist Beatrice Renfield
New Haven, CT — March 15, 2006
On Tuesday, April 4 from 2:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. YSN will celebrate the legacy of philanthropist Beatrice Renfield (in photo above) through whose generosity YSN established The Beatrice Renfield - Yale School of Nursing Clinical Research Initiatives Fund.
The program will begin at 2:00 p.m. with presentations by the four inaugural awardees, who will present their research findings. The work of these researchers and their colleagues focused on the development of models of care that advance nursing practice and improve health care, especially for patients in underserved communities. Their presentations will be as follows:

The presentations will take place in room 105 at the Yale School of Nursing, 100 Church Street South in New Haven. They will be followed by a reception (from 3:30 - 4:30) in the student lounge area.
