YSN to Celebrate 50 Years of Excellence of Nurse-Midwifery at Yale University
New Haven, CT — April 12, 2006
During the past 50 years, since the inception of Yale's nurse-midwifery program, Yale midwives have caught thousands of babies, cared for thousands of families in our community and contributed to better health care for women and families around the world. To celebrate their many accomplishments, on Wednesday, May 10 at 4:00 p.m., the Yale University School of Nursing will host a reunion of Yale midwives and many of their patients and their families. The program, titled, "Yale Midwives Deliver! 50 Years of Excellence" is will take place in the YSN Lecture Hall, Room 118, 100 Church Street South in New Haven. This event is open to the general public.
