Ivy Alexander Wins Award for Medical Communication

Ivy Alexander, YSN Associate Professor, has been selected to receive a 2008 Will Solimene Award for Excellence in Medical Communication from the New England Chapter of the American Medical Writer's Association.

Her winning entry is "100 Questions and Answers About Osteoporosis and Osteopenia." This award will be presented at on June 12, 2008 at the Westin Hotel in Waltham, MA.

Professor Alexander's first book, "100 Questions and Answers About Menopause," was also a winner of this prestigious award.

Her co-author on these two books is Karla Knight '76.
